The staff was friendly and helpful, and the accommodations had everything I needed for a short stay. The room had towels, soap, a mini fridge, and coffee. Additionally, I had my own sink and mirror in the room, which gave me some privacy. The location was also convenient, close to where I needed to be.
The room was quite warm and stuffy, and there was no fan or air conditioning. It would have been nice to have some sort of ventilation, especially as the summer approached.

The continental breakfast included was a good start to the day. the staff were kind and helpful. the location was convenient for exploring the city and surrounding attractions.
The shower was difficult to operate and the water pressure was weak. the smell in the first room I was assigned was unpleasant and I had to request a different room.

Great value for the price. the staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. the rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities, such as towels, soap, and a mini fridge. the location of the hotel was convenient and easy to get to everything we wanted to visit.
The lack of air conditioning was a bit of a downside, especially during the hot summer weather. the hotel provided fans, which helped make the rooms more comfortable.

The location was peaceful and had beautiful surroundings. It was a great experience to have access to a kitchen and the continental breakfast provided added value to the stay.
The beds and pillows in the budget accommodation were not the most comfortable. There was poor soundproofing in the residences, making it difficult to sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at Vancouver Island Residences! The location was great, and we loved the quiet atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the nice view. The free wifi was a big plus, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. The bunnies on the university residence ground were adorable! Even though the breakfast options were a bit limited, the free parking and included breakfast made it a great value. we highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and affordable stay.

The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, which was a relief after a long day of travel. the location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions.
The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the breakfast options were quite limited and the pastries offered were stale.

The initial host was friendly and informative, giving me some helpful information. the view from my window was amazing, and I loved being able to open the window for some fresh air. the shower and bathroom were right there in my room, which was convenient.
The signposting and directions to find the reception office were confusing, and I had to ask a student resident for help. the lack of clear signage extended to the cafeteria, which I stumbled upon by accident after a walk through several buildings.

During our romantic escape, we loved the beautifully kept grounds of the hotel. It provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere that added to the overall experience. the staff members were also super friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. the hotel's central location made it convenient for us to explore and enjoy the key attractions in the area.
The lack of variety with specific dietary needs. As someone with food intolerances, it was disappointing to only have limited options for breakfast.

During my recent stay at Vancouver Island Residences, I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations. The common room felt like a home away from home, and the 24-hour front desk staff ensured that I had everything I needed. The location was also conveniently located, making it easy to access nearby attractions. I would highly recommend Vancouver Island Residences for a short stay.

We recently stayed at a great value accommodation on a quiet campus. Vancouver Island Residences provided us with an excellent experience. the clean and uncomplicated setting was exactly what we needed. the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the inlet. Having two separate rooms with shared bathroom worked well for us. Though the walls are a bit thin, the staff quickly moved us to a new room.

A value option that could be a better experience if it had a better mattress. The campus is a different experience and included breakfast. Very clean and buildings in good shape. The location was excellent, good views from the city side of the buildings and quiet surroundings. The initial 'host' was friendly and accommodating and informative. The view from my window, the fact that you could open the window. The reception staff and cleaning staff were exceptional and accommodating. Good location, comfortable beds. Rooms in a suite. Nice student residences. I'll recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the campus for the Westwood Lake Triathlon and had a great experience. The campus was unique and the buildings were in good shape. The included breakfast was a nice touch and there was a good variety of food options. The highlight of my stay was the unbelievably fantastic Cafeteria Attendant. Even though I couldn't make it to breakfast due to the early race, she packed us a bag of juices, yogurts, and muffins to take with us. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and informative. it was a great place with super staff.
I recommend this hotel.
